Finding a caregiver or private nurse in the Philippines

Start with the care you need

1. Choose caregiver or private nurse. Caregivers must declare TESDA Caregiving NC II; private nurses must declare a current PRC nursing licence.
2. Enter a city or municipality and maximum hourly rate. You may include professionals willing to relocate.
3. Set work arrangements. Compare stay-in/stay-out, duty-hour bounds of 12 or 24 per day and minimum/maximum days per week.
4. Add relevant experience. Consider years of experience, hospital or home-care experience, languages, broad care situations, training, equipment knowledge, driving and domestic travel.

Use broad categories. Do not enter patient names, medical records, detailed diagnoses or full residential addresses into the initial search. Greyed-out fields are not currently used in ranking.

Understand the match and its limits

Each result explains matching preferences and gaps. The percentage describes preference fit, not clinical quality, verified qualifications, character or identity. Strict matching requires every supported preference to be met. Required equipment preferences can exclude profiles with missing experience.

Check qualifications directly

ArugaMatch does not collect or verify credential documents. Check a claimed qualification through the official TESDA registry or official PRC verification service. A profile declaration is not proof of a valid qualification.

Questions families ask

Is searching free?

Yes. ArugaMatch collects no registration, matching or commission fee for this phase. Care itself is paid directly to the professional at a rate agreed by both parties.

Why are profiles hidden before searching?

Profiles appear only after a search, with the professional's consent. The professional must be available, have a current self-reported qualification date and have confirmed availability within 30 days.

Can I message someone now?

Profile search is available. Messaging and contact requests are not open yet. Private contact information is excluded from search results.

Does ArugaMatch employ or place professionals?

ArugaMatch is a community platform, not a recruitment or placement agency. It does not employ professionals, negotiate arrangements, supervise care or manage payments.
